Mining
SAF provided US$120 million to catalyze a stalled equity raise and deliver a fully funded mine restart and ramp-up plan. The restart returned hundreds of jobs to local communities while providing a meaningful boost in economic activity and tax/royalty income to provincial economies.
Life Sciences
SAF provided $115 million to partially fund an international expansion where the domestic senior bank syndicate was unable to adequately support their client’s growth opportunities. When COVID created unprecedented short term business and financial challenges, we were able to work with our partner on a structured solution focused on the business’ long term value to achieve a positive outcome for all stakeholders.
